 The grey she-alpha sighed and looked at her mate. His head was resting upon his paws and his eyes were closed. She knew that he hated war, but she also knew that he had sent his only son to the Light wolves to help them. She told him she would go and help them, but he would not allow it. The grey she-wolf wondered how long it would take for her mate to realize that their son would die within minutes of the beginning of the battle. As we knew not how to fight. And how the Light would feel when they found that Cliff was no warrior, he was a wolf that had no idea how to use his teeth and claws on another wolf. Sea knew that her son's death was fast approaching. The black alpha opened one eye and glanced at his mate. She looked away from him. He sighed and closed his eye again. He knew that she hated him for sending her son to help the Light. He knew that his son would be the first to die, but what did he care? His son was weak, a lowly Omega, no destined Alpha. But Sea loved him just the same, and she would die for him. Sea. thought the black male, Mirqu. That was all he cared about. Not his son, not for his pack-mates, just Sea. Mirqu was no Alpha, he was the lowly Omega, it was his son Cliff who was a leader. And if the black alpha didn't realize his faults soon, Cliff would die. And would die in vain. |

Sea looked at her mate again, her eyes burning into his pelt. She spoke, Why, my leader? Why do you send our only son to his death? He can learn to fight, he can become a hero. She knew that those words would only get her into trouble, but she cared little, she just wanted her son back by her side. She'd rather have Cliff as her leader then Mirqu.
Mirqu lifted his head, his deep silver eyes glaring into Sea. Sea our son is a coward, you know that as well as I do. He knew those words would make her mad, but he didn't care. He hated his son, while she loved him. It made them very close enemies.
