Silver looked down upon the wolves of Lark and had to let out a soft whine as Whisper told Blizzard those words that had weighed the golden she-wolf down for so long. The grey she-wolf sighed and her breath became visible steam and she watched it evaporate.

Spirit watched from the cover of a willow tree. He knew how heartbroken both Whisper and Blizzard were. He'd felt it himself when Silver had been killed and before when he believe Fiona and Quest were dead. He looked at Akita and smiled, he knew that the gold wolf would be a great One. He was strong and brave, and changed. Not only was he the father to Mist's pups but his heart lay with the Light, forever more. And Spirit knew that Cherook Akita would choose the perfect Chosen. That Chosen would be his own son or daughter.

Ray lifted his head from his paws and sighed. He could see the distant look in Silver and Spirit's eyes. They were thinking off their families. Ray, he was thinking of Neera. He missed his sister so much. And Fiona. And Quest. He missed them all, but he knew someday he'd see them again.

Salenas head snaped in the direction of Blazer and Blizzard

Spear looked down at Arck and Zap and wondering if the white wolf was happy. He sure looked like it, but looks can be deceiving. She didn't deserve a second chance, that's why she never showed her love for Tril. She knew he didn't love her and she lived with that, but now her heart burned. It felt like it was being ripped apart. But nothing could change that.

Silver let out a soft growl when Blazer withered in pain. She asked Salena, her eyes never leaving the two wolves, What has Blizzard done?

Salena answered her voice hoarse and quite He spoke through his mind... as loud as he could... a screech like that is painful even to a spirit. But that isnt all that he has done, Blizzard has called a truce with Blazer.

Does that mean something more then it usually does? Ray, worriedly asked coming up beside Silver and Salena.

Salena shrugged Should it?

Ray shrugged back, Well, your species is different then the regular wolf, like Blazer. So I was just wondering if that is something different then the normal truce. Spear walked forward, her eyes secretive. Ask Ranger, or Tril, or his pack. Blazer is not a regular wolf. He's a Flame-Heart, as they are called. Never make him angrier then what you saw today. He's dangerous, and we can only hope Whisper knows what danger she is in if she chooses him as a mate.

Salena took in their words A flame-heart? I can only assume that that term means he is short tempered... As for the truce, with our species if you go against your word it would mean a fight, and with Blizzard I can imagine it would be to the death.

Spear shook her head, He may have a fire like temper, but that is not what the term, Flame-Heart means. It is much worse. Blazer has powers, like your species. Only his he wishes not to control. When he gets angry his eyes turn to flame, as do his ruff and his tail. His talons grow and wings form. He is a flying demon. You could say. I know this because I was there when he threatened to kill Ranger if she told anyone what he was. She told only Tril, and he does not know. If the truth is ever told to him then both Tril and Ranger's lives are in danger.
